What are the dimensions of your framed prints?
The dimensions are as follows:
A2 (Simple): 42x59 cm
A1 (Standard): 59x84 cm
F4 (Deluxe): 89x128 cm
Are your prints standard frame size?
We strive to make framing of the highest quality possible.
Still if you are looking for a cheap frame, for example for the A2 size 42x59cm: you can find this size in the Interio boutique. But the paper enlarges with time and such frames don’t have margins to anticipate it. So we can't guarantee that such frame won't damage your artwork in the future.
It is the reason why we suggest our frames which are sur-mesure made and which takes all factors into account. We strive to offer long-term and museum-grade quality frames for our artworks. The conservation is our priority. We also choose to support the local art-framing studios and their hand-made work.
I would love a poster of (blank) but you don't have it. Do you take requests?
Absolutely! We love getting feedback about our current designs, & requests for new ones are always welcome! Don't forget to include some reference photography too. Inspiration always helps the creative process. We have an ongoing "to-do" list, but we will often prioritize cities / locations that we receive a large amount of requests for.
Are your designs reproductions of vintage artwork?
All of our designs are original pieces. Those are considered as modern day creations using the spirit of an aesthetic legacy of excellence. It is a revisit with contemporary references to pop culture, which are sometimes cinematographic, sporting or cultural. All of our artwork is copyrighted and is not public domain.
To become ''vintage'' as for example a Gstaad Poster, it will probably take 100 years. We are the only atelier in Switzerland keeping the tradition of such poster-artworks with high quality materials, so we can't exclude the possibility of our collections being considered as ''vintage'' posters in the future.
Are you Galerie 1 2 3?
Surprisingly, we get this question a lot. No, we are not Galerie 1 2 3, but they have nice collections! The Galerie 1 2 3 offers a range of famous vintage posters for 30 years. Our first collection was the Swiss Legendary Drives in homage to Swiss Alpine Passes in 2018. We begin all of our poster art with a hand-illustrated process that is then uploaded and finished digitally.
How are your prints shipped?
Our posters are carefully rolled using gloves, placed in a protective tissue paper and packaged in cardboard tubes. We ship via Swiss Post and FedEx Delivery. Framed prints are packed out with protective materials in a sturdy cardboard box. Local shipping takes between 2-3 days for all ''single sized'' posters, for metal art collections and all accessories. Framed artworks are sur-mesure, there is one week delay, so you can count around 10 days for shipping. The ''various sizes'' posters are printed on order, so there are shipped in 4-5 days.
International shipping may vary between countries. Please take note that there might be taxes on customs based on the value of your purchase. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions, we have a lot of customers from around the world. Regarding the frames, we suggest to replace the glass with plexiglass to avoid chances of damages during delivery. Most of our international clientele choose to order artworks without frames.
